Goodbye dry skin!

Did you know that an uneven skin pH can trigger eczema flare-ups? In case your skin feels dry, itchy, or inflamed, you might have a skin condition called Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis. It is a chronic condition that affects people of all ages but is most common in children. Eczema is not contagious, but it often runs in families.

Unfortunately, I am one of those. Over the years my skin became really sensitive and dry. Nothing was working out for me and the temptation to scratch my skin kept getting worse. The exact cause of eczema is not known, but it is believed to be related to a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Triggers for eczema can include:
  • Dry skin
  • Irritants, such as certain soaps, detergents, and other skin products
  • Allergens, such as dust mites, pet dander, and pollen
  • Stress
  • Hormonal changes
  • Changes in temperature or humidity
  • Certain foods
However, I recently came across the brand Soteri Skin, which specializes in treating eczema. Soteri is the only product that can genuinely balance the pH of the skin and keep it healthy. It is a steroid-free supplement. Treatment for eczema involves moisturizing the skin, avoiding triggers, and using medications to relieve itching and inflammation.
Every time we wash, apply makeup, wash our hands, or even step outside, we may disrupt the pH balance of our skin. Normally, skin can manage pH changes on its own. However, sensitive skin and eczema skin have a more difficult time stabilizing pH (in fact, people with eczema tend to have an increased pH), and having the improper pH for extended periods of time can cause discomfort.
Soteri Skin’s proprietary pH/LOCK technology maintains a healthy pH level for up to 12 hours per treatment! Skin becomes healthier and more responsive to inflammation with long-term pH adjustment. Glowing skin is radiant, hydrated, and happy.
